This past Friday was our last PD Day Program of the school year! We rounded up the year with a visit from the Mountsberg Conservation Raptors!! It was AMAZING!
They brought three birds – a Harris’s Hawk, Barn Owl and a Peregrine Falcon! It was amazing to see these stunning raptors up close! We learned about their individual hunting skills, adaptations for living in their natural habitats, things that make each raptor unique and so much more! Thanks so much Mountsberg!
When the raptors left we spent the rest of our sunny day crafting, hiking, planting, cooking over the campfire, playing, and tie dying some shirts! It was a wonderful summer like day. It was so nice to see so many familiar faces during each of our PD Day Programs this year. Tara and I hope to see you all next year!
