The day at Free Bird Nature Kinderschool follows a dependable rhythm that helps the child develop a sense of trust and security. Through imaginative play, artistic activities, verses, songs and stories the child’s emotional, intellectual and social life are strengthened.
At Free Bird, creative play in the outdoor classroom is a large part of the day and is encouraged and enjoyed in all types of weather.
Weekly Rhythm
Monday: Watercolor painting
Tuesday: Woodworking, sewing, clay/playdough
Wednesday: Soup making
Thursday: Hiking to the forest

Keeping the nature school accessible
A non-refundable $400 deposit is required to hold your child’s spot in the program (you may receive a refund up to 48 hours after payment, however a $30 admin fee is kept).
Annual tuition is $7,000. Please contact us for payment options that will work for your family. Bursaries are available through our ‘Being in Nature’ assistance fund.
